1-2 bananas, peeled
melted butter
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
about 1 tbsp rum (or brandy or whisky)
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Slice the bananas in half lengthwise. Place with cut side down in a baking dish and brush with melted butter.
Sprinkle well with sugar and splatter with rum. (To sprinkle rum over, partly close top of bottle with your thumb.)
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the sugar melts and bananas are soft. Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream or cream.
